Equine Influenza – New Cases Confirmed

March 20, 2019 | by Charlie Hands | Equine

Cases of Equine Flu have now been confirmed in Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.

Our advice remains the same, all horses should be vaccinated and have a booster if they have not been vaccinated within the last 6 months.

Signs of Equine Influenza include fever (>38˚C), snotty nose and coughing, if you have any concerns contact the Surgery for advice.

It is OK to continue attending equine events that operate good biosecurity and are checking passports ensure all attendees are protected.
