Our (MUDDY) Wolf Runners!
A team of vets, nurses, receptionists (and a baker standing in for an equine nurse!) from HNVG took part in the Autumn Wolf Run 2017.
WOLF stands for Woods, Obstacles, Lakes & Fields and the event took place in the wilds of Warwickshire on a cold September morning. The 10k course is through beautiful farmland, along woodland trails, through deep water & underground tunnels, over 10 foot high obstacles and down a famously fast water slide. And did we mention the mud? There is A LOT OF MUD!
We hadn’t managed to run as a team prior to the event, but it was team work that got us over the finishing line together; soaking wet, freezing cold but euphoric about our achievement and… we actually enjoyed ourselves too!
