“Hello, nice to meet you all! My name is Juliette, and I am the latest addition to the equine team. I recently graduated from the University of Nottingham and am local to the Stratford-Upon-Avon area. I was really lucky to spend a lot of my university placements with Hook Norton and am delighted to now be on board as a fully qualified vet.
I chose to join Hook Norton because they are a supportive and friendly practice who do everything to the highest standard. As a new vet it is extremely important to do the basics well, while being supported to do the more challenging cases too. You may have seen me out shadowing Beky this month, and she has been absolutely brilliant at helping me transition from student to full-time vet.
From a young age, I have been around horses, growing up learning to ride on my Nanna’s Irish Draft mare around the lanes of Devon. Since Raffles passed, my mum and I started to do rides up on Dartmoor, and even managed to get Nanny out for a 3 generational ride!
Outside of work, I compete in Powerlifting at a national level and also play for KL Hockey Club. If I’m not at work, you can be pretty certain I’m training at the gym.
