This package is suitable for both routine screening in horses and ponies showing no clinical signs, as well as monitoring existing laminitis cases.
Hyperinsulinemia-Associated Laminitis (HAL) is the most common form of laminitis, accounting for over 90% of cases in horses and ponies. Often linked to raised insulin levels, HAL has largely replaced older terms such as pasture-associated and endocrine-related laminitis.
