We all love the sight on a newborn foal, skipping around after it’s Mum. However, the first 24-hours of a foals life are critical and need careful observation, to make sure that both foal and mum are healthy. We have put together a handy sheet with newborn foal parameters, to give you an idea as to how long it should take your foal to sit up, stand and suck from Mum, and most importantly when to act and call a vet.
