Gary has been a director at HNVG since 2006 and has overall responsibility for the Small Animal Veterinary Department.
“There was no history of an interest in animals in my family, and I came from an urban area in Essex. I decided to become a vet when I was 9 after completing a school project.
Seeing an animal that would have died without help, leave the surgery and get into the owner’s car to go home, makes me proud to do my job. The ‘help’ could be a specific treatment there & then or a plan that’s been formulated to help that animal. I also get a kick out of mentoring my junior vets and seeing them become fab vets!”
