I have twin passions for breeding and performance horses and have combined these by breeding what is now my third generation of competition mares! I have been very lucky to compete up to 5* eventing and Inter I dressage with my current mare Ivy’s mother and grandmother and find my experience training horses up through the levels has offered a unique perspective for my eyes on the ground and means I often have a different insight into how to improve performance.

I love being part of the support team that not only keeps competition horses sound but also finds the areas in which we can help ensure the horse is comfortable, training and competing to the very best of its ability. I am always happy to come and watch you and your horse work and see if there is any veterinary intervention that might help with any difficulties you are having.
On the reproductive side, I don’t think I’ll ever stop being excited to scan a pregnancy, and now I have been working in the area for a decade, I love seeing the foals I have been involved in creating progress up the competitive ranks.
I am a member of the Racecourse vet team at Stratford Racecourse, an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian and also regularly act as an Expert Witness, being a Practising Associate of the Academy of Experts. I love being part of such a brilliant team of Equine Vets here at Hook Norton Veterinary Group. We are very proud to be independent and, as such, can offer individual treatment appropriate for each horse and owner, your aspirations and your budget. Our vets and nurses all care deeply about the horses within our care and love being part of your successes!
