In September 2021, Zuzi embarked on her Advanced Veterinary Practitioner Certificate at the University of Liverpool. After completing her veterinary studies in the Czech Republic, she decided to specialise in equine care. The certificate provides her with in-depth knowledge, focusing on evidence-based medicine, which emphases the latest scientific research to support diagnostics and treatments. Zuzi chose to concentrate on the Equine Lameness Diagnosis and Therapeutics Certificate, a crucial area given the prevalence of lameness cases in horses. Additionally, she completed a reproduction module to offer comprehensive care for broodmares during the stud season.
By December 2023, Zuzi had graduated from the University of Liverpool with a PgCertVPS, and in September 2024, she passed the RCVS Synoptic Exam, earning the title CertAVP (EL), which stands for Certified Advanced Veterinary Practitioner in Equine Lameness Diagnosis and Therapeutics.
